One 60-day voyage circling the Land Down Under is being halted following the tragic passing of an elderly female passenger who was left behind by the cruise liner on a isolated island.

The elderly woman had been trekking on the remote island with other travelers from the Coral Adventurer, but parted ways from the excursion for a rest. The liner sailed away leaving her and came back later that day after the crew became aware the lady was not present.

An extensive search operation discovered her body the subsequent day.
